When I was lying in bed
and looking out the window
I was struck the idea that
I'll get a hand up to the rainbow
who leaned over my house
dispelling the darkness of rain.
Everyone is asleep, even the mouse
Under my bed. She wakes up, then
I will not be here.
I will sit on the rainbow train.
